Merrimac Water Department Spring Hydrant Flushing
The Merrimac Water Department will be flushing hydrants on Monday, April 7, 2008. Flushing will continue through Friday, April 18th between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Due to the mandatory water ban last fall, the Water Department did not flush the main in October. Therefore, please be advised that there may be more discoloration of the water for a longer period of time. Also be advised of low water pressure during this time. A schedule of areas to be flushed will be posted at the office on a daily basis.
