Board of Assessors Received Preliminary Certification
The Merrimac Board of Assessors has received Preliminary certification of Real Estate and Personal Property values for the Fiscal year 2007 from the Department of Revenue.
Due to this, the Board is now required to hold Public Disclosure of these values. The proposed new values are ready for the public to view and will be available at the Assessors office until 1:00 PM, Friday, October 20, 2006. The daily office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Monday October 9, 2006 the office will be closed due to the holiday. The office will also be open from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, October 16, 2006.
Owners may view the records of their property to verify the data and any adjustments will be made prior to the full certification of the values and the setting of the tax rate.
