Open From Mid April to November and in January
Saturday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Site is open every Saturday April 17, 2010 thru November 27, 2010 (weather permitting). Additionally, brush will be accepted on 4/24, 5/8, 5/22, 6/12, 6/26, 7/10, 7/24, 8/14, 8/28, 9/11, 9/25, 10/9, 10/23, 11/13, 11/27.
Location
The Yard Waste Site is located on Broad Street between the intersection of E Main Street (Rt. 110) and the Dunkin Donuts. Driving from Route 110 to Route 495 the Yard Waste Site will be on the left side.
Town Stickers Required
The yard waste site is for residents only and is not for commercial use. Town stickers are required for making drop offs. Town stickers must be renewed yearly. Residents can purchase town stickers at the Selectman's office for $5.00 per vehicle. A valid vehicle registration must be presented at the time of purchase.
Summer and Fall Program
Leaves, Grass, and Clippings
Acceptable items include leaves, grass, and clippings. No sticks, branches or garbage are allowed. Take all bags with you.
Brush Collection
Acceptable items include only brush. No roots, dirt, trash, or trunks over 3" diameter will be accepted. Lay sticks and branches neatly in piles. The site monitor has the authority to refuse drop off of unacceptable materials. Please help keep the site open by following the rules for drop off. Check the calendar for brush collection dates. Brush collection dates are limited to periods in the spring and fall.
