Business Certificates (DBA/Doing Business As) must be filed by an unincorporated business located in Merrimac that is operating under a name other than one’s own, i.e. Helen Good DBA Good Cards and Gifts. The fee for a Business Certificate is $25.00 and the certificate is valid for four (4 years). Certificates must be renewed every 4 years if the business remains in operation.
